C;aptain; Denton "Denny" Ashiem is the owner/operator of a mid-size space freigher, LOST. He is mid-60s and quite a large man, battling his demon alcohol and a past he never mentions.
Denny has been a trader and wheeler/dealer for some years but keeps a low profile generally. LOST itself is a legitimate registered trading vessel and he had hoped to keep it that way.

- Paul Drake after group received life threatening letters in the What is Truth Worth chronicle. Noted for being a spanner in the plot, totally derailing the game for a session. Has become a catchphrase for spannering the plot, or otherwise annoying the GM.
